GameStop To Release Own Android Gaming Tablet?!

If true, we could see gaming retailer GameStop release its own Android tablet.  Wow, oh, wow.

Do you see what's going on here?  I'll clue you in but check out Androidy Community's post on this.  Essentially, some retailers realized the future is portable and downloadable media - games, books, magazines, videos, etc.

GS realized this and is making this push to remain relevant in the new mobile and cloud-based future.  With its own tablet, like Amazon is doing with its Kindle tablet, it can remain a play.  And Android is providing that avenue.

Details are very sketchy so we don't know if GS will pushing for its own specific Android tablet for gaming or will it support others as well.  Right now, GS is also working to carry Apple's iOS devices.

I can't wait to see just how things turn out.
