Recession: Folks Leaving Banks

Worth reading.  People leaving their banks who nickel-and-dime their loyal customers.  I think this could benefit regional and local banks.

So, Bank of America, you're right. You've got a right to make a profit.  And we've got our rights to make sure you don't and take our biz elsewhere.

As a matter of fact, I've got some free time this weekend.  Maybe that's what I should do.  Open up a checking account just to prepare myself when I need to love stuff away from my bank.  And the kicker is that there is a local bank just down the street from where I live and work.

All those banks trying to raise fees in the midst of the worst Main Street recession in recent memory is just plain stupid.  And I'm glad folks are taking matters into their own hands.  No government intervention required, too.
