  • Pod touch - iMessage and iOS 5 with iCloud integration - also in white.  8GB for $199, $299 for 32 GB and $399 for 64 GB!
  • iPhone 4S - looks like iPhone 4 with A5 chip - not impressed with battery life.  But features listed (below) is enticing to consider upgrading.
  • Assistant!? "Will it rain in Cupertino" or "Do I need an umbrella today?" Both the same question, but different ways of asking.
  • iPhone 4S preorder October 7th - AT&T, Verizon, Sprint

I'm following the following live blogs:
Updates:
  • Sprint stock took a beating yesterday after the $20 billion deal with Appe but it's up 5% today so far.
  • Everyone is in - less than 5 min until Tim Cook rocks the world.
  • Apple CEO Tim Cook On the Stage!
  • Talking about new Apple stores...I'll probably skip stuff if it's not too important.
  • Macworld live blog is failing for me...you?
  • Not Apple related but NJ governor Chris Christie not running for prez - doesn't drink enough tea to the Tea Party's liking
  • Talked a bit about Lion and Macbook Air.
  • Holy crap...Macs achieved 23% share in August...frak..."77% of people buying something else. High ceiling..."
  • Now onto music.
  • 300 million iPods sold, 16 billion downloads, still a lot of people buying iPods - glad to hear this.  Classic lives on?
  • 93% Of Fortune 500 deployed iPhones.
  • iPad - helping kids learn in new ways - 95% satisfaction.
  • Apple stock barely budging so far.
  • 80% Of top US hospitals using iPads, helping pilots fly more efficiently, and great penetration of higher ed.
  • 250 million iOS devices sold. iPad is 3 of every 4 tablets sold in the US.
  • iOS 43% of installed base with Android at 33%, RIM 17%.  500K apps, 140K iPad apps.
  • Whopping $3 billion paid to developers.
  • Card app - $2.99 to mail in the US, $4.99 in the world.

  • iPod touch - iMessage and iOS 5 with iCloud integration - also in white.  8GB for $199, $299 for 32 GB and $399 for 64 GB!
  • I guess no iPod touch with 6-7" screen for me.. :(
